Flash Flooding in Whitefish Bay, WI

Milwaukee County had just received at least seven inches of rain in under an hour (two months worth of precipitation). In many areas, the standing water was up to the waist.
My van stalled prior to filming -- the water was halfway up the door and pouring in. Good Samaritans pushed us up to higher ground and we soon joined their efforts on other cars.
This video is of one of the worst-hit intersections in the area.

Hey misslayonadavenport, you're a moron! People's houses are flooded, the streets are impassible, who knows how much is lost in dollars, much less things that have far greater meaning and you want to pick on Milwaukee? I don't even live there, but I'd hate to see what you had to say about the floods in New Orleans!

dont mean to offend anyone i guess whitefish bay is the nicer part but still, no thanks, its not often milwaukee floods, i got hit really bad 2 years ago up here by portage, i couldnt even leave town
