@PaulDePace after reading this i rushed right over to your channel to listen to the original and come to find out you havent uploaded anything in 4 years. if you're refering to johnny o'keefe as being the original... never heard of him. jerry lee lewis also recorded it in '58 but didnt release it until '74. anyway ill keep checking your channel to see if i can be awed by the original

If you want to know what I am referring to, go to 1:28 and listen to how he says "settle down"...draws it out like some idiot, with that twang. Then go listen to the original. Crisp. @SlightlyEdgy ......Hey SlightlyEdgy....I understand your comments, no hard feelings here. Everyone is due their say. BUT, I wasn't hinting that there was some OTHER singer's version...but that this is NOT EVEN BOBBY"S ORIGINAL....the twanging at :39 and 1:29...and all the playing around at the end? This is not the ORIGINAL RELEASE VERSION. Bobby makes and has made tons of reprised versions of his songs, and loves to play (around) with the original arrangement, that's what you have here.
