  • i have a 2012 goodman :D

  • Im working on looking at 3500 in repairs so far on a unit thats only 5 yrs old ;((((((

  • We bought a goodman package unit which had a factory restriction. Goodman rep was not very eager to help and come to job site to investigate. The unit was replaced with another unit the same as. This unit as well had a restriction from over brazing of the lines. This goodman rep loved me. Their workman ship and quality is poor and common knowledge to anyone that doesn,t sale this product

  • @HVACKID94 Why do you call goodman cheaply made? Goodmans are just as good or better quality than any manufacturer out there. They all use about the same parts with a differant name on the outside. I never have complaints with goodman products.

  • it is the same one as mine but mines a heat pump and its a 3 ton i think

  • I have a 16 seer goodman unit that is unable to get the heat turned on unless I wiggle the connections on it...

could someone please take a look at my posts or maybe give me a good forum where people talk about heating and A/C?

  • @tranefreak1 The economy has changed too. In the 50s it might cost 1/10th of the purchase price to fix something, even something major (compressor in A/C, picture tube in TV etc). Today manufacturing is so efficient and so inexpensive, it's hard to justify spending more than 1/2 the purchase price to replace a compressor or something.

  • @tranefreak1

yeah your right.... infact Windows 7 doesn't need any oomph at all!
