There is NO excuse for physical violence, ESPECIALLY towards women. It's a cowardice act, and yes, the media can and will take sides and like "squirrel017" said, "we'll never be able to know it all unless you are related to her" or him for that matter. A push, shove, hit or punch is violence and a learned behavior.
