BMW 320/6 2.0 Lt M-60 six Start-up after sitting for 10 months

This is the start up of our little race car 1979 BMW 320/6, it has been sitting dormant for 10 months while we have been building a cage and redoing the wiring, fuel system, added good used Holley 390 CFM race carb, new sit mounts, Lexan quarter windows and more odds and ends.

ne of the later videos has a quick 5,000 rpm blast. and I do talk too much most of the time... The in car videos get a little load - car is almost no fun to drive at times. We are almost finished with a new exhaust single 2.5" system.

Stock crank?

@fretbuzzz64 As far as I know it is the shock 2Lt. crank, I did not build the bottom end so I can not say for sure. The motor was only making 103hp at the wheels when I dyno tested it. Which leads me to believe it is stock.

Sorry been busy traveling and such the last two months, yes it is the stock 2.0L crank in this motor.

This is a 2.0 Lt M60 or M20 engine. It has some head work done to it and lots of intake work to get the Holley to fit.

what kind of engine is that
