One of our final projects in my editing class was to put together a movie trailer for the Alfred Hitchcock film "Strangers on a Train" which happens to be one of my favorite flicks.
We were given the film in its entirety and we had to arrange various clips and add any touches we wanted as long as it was coherent and fit in a 30 second to a minute time budget.
The movie is public domain now, and this project does not violate any copyright issues.
I used Adobe Premiere and After Effects to compile the footage. The music composition is called "Les Partitions" by Bruno Coulais and performed by the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra.
