Hello everyone! These are random pictures from 2007 to current (2009). I've made the decision to have weight loss surgery (gastric sleeve.) I am currently in the process of getting all the requirements for insurances purposes. I have done the consultation with the surgeon, met with the psychologist and nutritianist, and I've done 2 weigh ins with my doctor for insurance guide lines. I'm looking to have surgery April/May of 2010. For all of you that are starting this journey or have already begun this journey I wish you much luck! I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you for your support! My time is getting near for my surgery. My last weigh in is 03/03/2010. Then everything goes to the insurance for approval! I'm so excited!

It's nice to find someone going through the same thing at the same time. I have my first appointment June 18 and I can't wait to get this started. I've been waiting 9 months since my referral here in Toronto, Canada. I'm 28 and around 300 pounds. I don't know if you are like me and have always been over wait, but you're really pretty and I'm sure you will do great. Best of luck. I look forward to following your blog.

Kristie, I am starting this journey too. I have been through the preparation classes required by my insurance, which is basically the psychological counseling. I have a consultation appt. with the surgeon on May 1, 2010, and looking at a surgery date probably in late June or early July 2010. We can do this. I am sure we will wish we did it years ago. You are BEAUTIFUL! It looks like you have a full life - I hope wls helps you become the thinner, healthier you that you're hoping for. The things we enjoy will surely be even more enjoyable when we have lost weight. I don't know about you but I am looking forward to going back to Disney as a thinner person with a new perspective on all those rides! Best wishes. :)
