Yes, he is a treasure. I can understand the Boss being incognito at a small show, but not the others. I hope Bruce helped with Peter's hospital bills.

Thanks for posting this. This is one of my all-time favorites. I saw Peter twice at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville back in the early 90s. The first time, I could have reached out and touched him. That night, Jon Bon Jovi was sitting at the next table back from me. It raised my opinion of Mr. Bon Jovi considerably.

Mine too, but I have seen just about everyone I rever at his shows, hats pulled low, even false or new mustaches, Elvis Costello, Dylan, the Boss, Graham Parker, Carlene Carter: The people I rever, rever him...plus he is just so cool, so courageous, a real hero to me.
