I have owned my Innofader for about 2 years and I love it!!! I have recently found that it felt a little sticky and I thought it was time to clean it. So I did and I made a tutorial to show you how I did it. *Note* The Innofader should last a very long time without any maintenance; should you feel the urge to add lube please do so through the tension hole adding the smallest drop possible. Over lubrication will lead to repeated cleaning and maintenance. We will release a new tut shortly on how to properly lubricate your Innofader.

if you need any replacement parts. Contact sales@audioinnovate.com and they will get you whatever you need. Some prefer to replace the back-plate if the tabs break. They have informed me they can supply all of the replacement parts you might require.

  • some of these mixers u can put them as line faders i would do that :)

  • @djcrossfade I would absolutely recommend that! These faders are the deal. I am going to swap them on my PMC-05 pro real soon. Also, check out the Innojuster. It allows you to customize the settings of the fader from outside of the mixer. Thanks for watching! =D

  • honestly both faders are good but i have been using my 07 pro with the pcv faders for years many many years and i have never had to replace them i clean them every once in a blue moon i will have to put up my own tutorials on how i clean my pcv and rane ttm 57 faders i just don't have the need to clean them yet.. also i don't recommend calilube.i have been using another lubricant for years now and it protects from moisture, heat, dust build if your interested let me know i'll put up the method...

  • @chanpain I don't know how I overlooked this. So good to hear from you bro! Those PCV faders last and last if you take care of them right. I just really went with the Innofader, initially, to get more customization out of it. It was really just a bonus for me to see that it lasts for so long. =D

I would really like to hear what lube you recommend. I have been looking for a good substitute. Next time your in D-town... hit me up for a session. You are a homie that always has an invite. =D

  • thx

  • @djskooorph Anytime! Thanks for checking out this tutorial.

  • @AxiomAndAllies i plan to do that on my numark x 5 if i get one or just in my ttm 56

  • @Devestato72 Thanks! Should have some more videos up real soon. =)

  • @ruslanio ...it probably should have gone at least a few more years without cleaning it had the faceplate held up. I put one in a Vestax PMC-05 PRO III and a Vestax PMC-07 PRO ISP, those two just keep going and going like an Energizer Bunny. I highly recommend the Innofader. =)

  • @ruslanio I have heard this from a few people. I know the PXF will last a long, long time but I know you have to consistently maintain them. We run a monthly community scratch session in Denver and PXF is one of our sponsors. Audio Innovate (Innofader) is another sponsor of ours. We have both types of faders for DJs to try out at the sessions. Truth is though that the faceplate on that SK-2F was deteriorating so fast that I think it was causing the need for the Innofader to be cleaned...

  • good shit
