@animal03181989 I agree with your conlucion about pop being catchy. I seriously doubt queen's we wil rock you got famous cause it had such inteligent lyrics.Its catchy and gets stuck in your head+easy to sing along to.

@steevrandil because its simple and catchy. Pretty much what a pop song is supposed to be. Thats why its called pop. Of course with each generation, a new kind of pop emerges. Classical music (which I also like) is too complex and kind of hard to listen to and enjoy, therefore, does not appeal to a universal audience the way pop music does.
