How lucky is that you can teach me how to drive it, routine maintainance vdi's etc lol gizza job

  • @armouredcockroach is that a bedford 'mk' 4 tonner? used to drive those and tm's in my army days - pick us up and i'll be crossbow top cover out of the coppola cover! sink on standby... mick.

  • @animaltendencies I've been looking at buying a bedford 4 tonner out of war storage 1988 with 378 miles on the clock as my next BOV ill be your sherpa shtf ill pick you and the family up on the way you can even bring your kitchen sink .Roach

  • @armouredcockroach i'm gonna have to get myself down to 'sherpas 'r' us' if i'm gonna take that kitchen sink!

It's a great set up no question I just think a little back to basic's sometimes keeps us more honest, get the camp set then scot around for food water etc or needing to keeping your eyes open on the route in will improve or maintain our skills, as for heavy packs I remember two guys having to support me one under each arm help me to my feet shuffle to the back of a herc and toss me out, main + reserve burgan under slung + weapon bundle deep joy Roach

  • @armouredcockroach i could probably get by on one bottle but i drink A LOT of brews! i like to have a reserve. size and weight wise, the pack itself isn't as bad as it looks - i gauge it by whether i can put it on from the floor comfortably. i'll have to do a clip of donning it on the next mission. i've seen people battling to don packs that would hospitalise a bear! the new bits should make the winter camps i've got planned nice and cosy... cheers, mick
