It appears to be that The Doctor has finally broken the laws of time. There is no going back. He now knows he can do anything as The Timelords cant stop him. His own people are forever lost in The Time War. So now we are left with an all powerful man. A man who is sick of watching people die. He can do anything. Save Luke from being run over, tell Rose what her future is. Bring back Donnas Memory so she will remember him. Save all those countless people he couldn't before. Oh and bring his own people back.

  • u fuking nerd get a fuking life u fuking twat ill kill u u fuking mug u cunt get a fukiiiing life thats it uve pushed me to the limit 1v1 world of warcraft rite now nigga

  • @Moonscow: couldn't agree more. But I don't think there is any need to worry with Stephen Moffat at the helm. His stories tend to be a lot creepier with less cheesy speeches and girls pining after Doc.

(Aspergian - Doc has broken laws of time before. Thats how he was exiled on Earth during the Pertwee era.)

  • He THINKS he's the last of the Time Lords. But because this time locked event DIDN'T change (he mentions that everything around those events is in flux), it means that the power of the Time Lords is still in effect.

They are still alive inside the timelocked time war, which Dalek Caan unlocked (and went made doing so) to get Davros out.

The Time Lords had resurrected the Master to fight in the time war, but he chickened out. Maybe they do it again, once they get free.

  • great theory but I don't think the dr will bring back the time lords as he knows he's gone to far (he said so just before he saw ood sigma.

we know he is going to see those he loves. wouldn't we all if we knew we were dying.

my theory is that darlek khan broke the time lock when he saved Davros from the time war. enabling the time lords to escape as well.

Why they have been silent since is anyone's guess.

  • Asper, do you know when the next two parts are on?

  • Oh yes I've been keeping tabs on the production of series 5, and so far I like everything I see! Alot of the settings remind me of T. Baker/Davison episodes. I really think we're going to be in for a treat come 2010 :)

  • I never thought of it like that :D

But what do you think of the 'new look' to doctor who? Personally speaking, I love it! :3 I just hope it doesn't go down the cheezy path some of RTD's episodes went down >.>

  • No doubt. I'm almost certain that will probably be the explanation for Series 5's retro look. I think once the Time Lords are brought back, they will be enraged with the Doctor's behavior rather than grateful for bringing them back, thus they will probably discipline him accordingly as they did before. I really think the timelines will undergo some sort of "reset," which will explain No. 11's "Hartnell" TARDIS.

  • Nice theory but if he brings back Gallifrey, surely then he'd loose his newly found power O.o

  • You know the final scenes with Adelaide and the Doc should have had the "master vainglorious" track in it.
