what my friends and i do when we go to joe shanghai in nyc (hahahaha best soup dumplings right?!?!?!) We bite a little hole into the dumpling and tilt the dumpling towards the spoon and pour out the soup contents, let the dumpling cool on the plate, drink the soup, then enjoy the dumpling :) its a little tricky but once you get it you look like a pro hahaha
