This is one of Faunts best. Extrordinarily under-rated. Which is good. Popularity ruins alot of bands.

An amazing Indie band...

It doesn't really matter if a band is popular or not, some popular bands make good music, and some hidden bands make terrible music.
I personally will show this to as many people as I can, because I know a lot of people who will like it. If that kind of attitude makes it popular, then so be it, the music will still be the same.

I realise how all the comments about Mass Effect could be annoying, but I'd never have heard of this epic band, were it not for Bioware.

Faunts is my favorite band I never get tired of listening to them. If I could I would listen to them in my sleep.

Good song, but reading all the indie fans milk their own prostates because they believe they believe their music taste must mean they are intellectual geniuses....
Well frankly it makes my anus leak.

@Evillordc I know Muse is still amazing, saw them twice now, but I find their most popular songs to be their most disappointing ones. I mean, when you mention Muse, most people come up with stuff like Undisclosed Desires, while only four or five people I ever met knew the awesome stuff like Dead Star or Sober. Also Matt has stated that he would like the next album to be like Undisclosed Desires. I know it's a matter of taste, but to me that's a waste of a pretty awesome band.

Bloody hell... I literally found Faunts about thirty minutes ago, and I'm already hooked! Where have these guys been hiding all this time?

I've never met an unintelligent fan of Faunts.

Nor have I
Indie bands are a lot harder to find than the oh so "impeccable" bands that Hollywood, in particular Disney, produces. It takes a brain or two.

Here's to that. I think part of it just comes down to statistics, however.
If we assume 1% of fans of a band, game, film or whatever are idiots, then a relatively unknown band may only have a few dozen morons for fans. If you take something popular - say, Halo, generally heralded to be the second coming - then that 1% is going to be several thousand people, and thus you're more likely to meet them.

of course,
statistics play a role in such maters, but Halo also would have a larger fanbase based in intelligence. . . unfortunately the 3 year old's on xbox live don't give me much hope. . .
