That never works, sorry. Patriotism is a good thing and I'm all for it, but I'm against a Blind patriotism. Competition is what makes any economy strong and healthy. It makes the best minds and the best designs to prevail. Without competition we all would get stuck in stone age till now. If we all suddenly start buying american cars out of patriotism there won't be any reason for the car makers to invest money and improve their designs ever. This eventually WILL kill the whole auto industry.

umm i. just saying...the marauder IS faster than the impala/caprice in the quarter mile..as forthe long run idk the impala would seem to beat the marauder..

14 second run for a Marauder is about right. It's slower than the 94-96 Caprice/Impala. Forester is a great sleeper.

stock tranmission?? i read some where that they arent the greatest. just wondering if you needed to do anything to it. im thinking about getting one myself.

@RTree613. Well, any tranny can be broken, but if you're not beating on it, then even the reqular WRX tranny can live through up to 350whp for awhile. I had mine for about a year at 320 wheel torque and the stock tranny took it like a champ.

@MrLinkMrLink Yea i know, i have a wrx and ran it on an upgraded turbo on the stock trans for a while with no problems. I guess what 'im asking is, is the forester trans stronger than the wrx trans? Or do you know if the legacy and forester have similar gear sets?

@RTree613 It's been a few years already, but if I remember correctly the Forester XT has the same gears as the WRX, but the final drive ratio is shorter which essentially makes the Forester XT gears withstand higher load than WRX's.
