Classic tune used by the Continental Army during the American Revolution. With roots leading back to Ireland this song has a deep history behind it. Most commonly heard in a fife(flute) and drum combo, it can also be heard on the fiddle. Here I am using my Penny Whistle "D" to pay homage to this tune.

  • @zafrornn no, it didn't. this is another tune in the irish repetoire which was actualy English. So many tunes people count as Irish are actually English. Do your homework.

  • @JimBell1984 This is originally an Irish song called "An Spailpín Fánach"
