no, if ud have watched the actual movie youd know that captain america actually did talke the prototype. the other models had different shapes. so no, there were no test, captain america took it out in the field to test it.

@Palatard because where should it come from? weve got oen shield, made of vibranium. it got losed together with captain america in the north pole -> no chance the father of tony had the original one.
only possibility is that they later found enough vibranium for asecond shield.

THIS IS WRONG!!! in captain america movies it was pointed out CLEARLY that there was only ONE round shield, as there is just enough vibranium to craete ONE!! but captain america froze TOGETHER WITH THE SHIELD in the north pole. iron man COULDNT HAVE THE SHIELD!!! ITS ALL FUCKING WRONG!!!
