Well you are comparing Obama to the past Republican administration which authored the Patriot act, Gitmo torture policy, FISA, and had political opponents imprisoned. The new Republicans do not denounce any of that stuff, and still maintain it was all a good idea.(Mostly because they are simply re-cycled Bush supporters) And yes, Fundamentalist conservative Mormonism (like many fundamentalists in different religions) have some serious ethical problems (cont)

I have actually read some on fundamentalist Mormons, thats some creepy stuff.  In Beneath the Banner of Heaven it describes how a young girl in Colorado City is forced to marry one of the elders, whereupon she "unwittingly became her own step grandmother."

Like I said, I do not believe Obama is a communist. But I believe his is supported by, and to an extent, surrounded by, people with very left wing views, some of them communists. I believe they are a profound danger to America, because they have no respect for our Constitution or the very concept of individual rights.

You should read up on the history of fundamentalist Mormonism. It has a long history of chasing imaginary communist "spooks" that don't exist, and being very hostile toward African-Americans in it's theology. But... on the other hand, we do know Glenn Beck is a convert to fundamentalist Mormonism. What is the traditional historical fundamentalist Mormon teaching concerning black people? And practiced all the way up until the 1970s? Now that is not a theory. It is his religious preference.
