TUTORIAL!:http://knexinnovation.net/showthread.php?1086-Zean-s-Hidden-Blade-and-Instructions
Built for my right arm, by orientation of the blade.
Blade is more like a popsicle stick made of 1/8" acrylic.
Used modified red pieces in place of 2 point grays along with a shorter simpler
latch set. In its current setup the latch is fairly loose to allow a quick release to jump the lock and open. Over all, the design is lower profile to fit in a roomy jacket. But can easily be switched to add a trigger at the inner elbow as my previous one had.
Increasing the strength of the rubber band would make the lever a requirement though. I have this using only half the rubber band, so that when need, the other can be added to make sure stays closed until changed.

I Made Instructions! The instructions do not include adding an acrylic blade. That's custom, but it's still just as functional. You Can find them here:

  • I'm confused on the string you put on the blade.

  • @supershadow6408

I used a thin Nylon String. Flexible and strong. There are actually two pieces. one pulls open, the other shut. Both are tied to the end of the blade and a central non moving point, the wrist end. The opening string is looped through the widened orange extension, while the closing is looped on the blue latching rod. Tighten things up to minimize slack too. • @coolaclaim4

Thanks. That's nice to hear. Ironically enough, I just had to rebuild it using a standard

red-length rod. Acrylic is very brittle and sort of shatters at a bad angle. Sort of...

  • How did you get the blade through the orange pieces?

  • Thanks.

  • @ZeanChronolis The blades are still increadable and its probably better to use a red rod so no one thinks its a read knife. TUTORIAL TUTORIAL :)
