Knight Rider NOT canceled says Gary Scott Thompson

Hey Knight Rider fans, Gary Scott Thompson here. We are on the set of episode 117 which will be the season finale. So far we have expended about 4000 rounds of ammunition, which is lying all over the ground, you can see all these shot up cars. We have a really great season finale for you.
The show is not cancelled. We're doing a reboot and, a lot of folks don't know this, but NBC not only cut costs by cutting episodes, which they did on a bunch of shows. They also just laid off 750 people yesterday in their production offices and their other offices. So this is a cost-cutting measure, it is not a cancellation measure.

So... Writing letters, though! Write a lot of letters to NBC telling them that you want Knight Rider back. To Ben Silverman at NBC!

It's been 2 years already is it cancelled or not?! I certainly hope not because it was good and didn't copy the original. Plus Kitt didn't have much emotion in the first season, same with Kitt3000. So yeah if it kept going it could've been real good. Please don't cancel this awesome show just because some nostalgic ppl are hating. I loved the old show and the new one! Can't someone just finish this show rather than those annoying reality shows?! Comon it's been 2 years my faith is shaking!

jackal342 thank god i found someone that thinks like i do ..yea that's what the people wanted knight rider to be like the 80s knight rider oh kitt ain't a Trans-Am it's a mustang not the same voice for kitt ...that all i heard if people would have let the new in i think the show would be on today but since they want it to be so much like the old and they couldn't take it .. i hope NBC realizes there mistake and puts it back on the air it deserves to come back

yea a mustang why not ...the old knight rider used the hottest car back then and that was aTrans-Am now the new knight rider want to use one of the hottest and fastest cars of today that's the mustang this mustang they used was a shelby cobra 500 gt the first shelby mustang ford made and knight rider got it from ford 500 horse power a 70.000 mustang so like i said why not ? this kitt was the knight 3000 not the knight 2000 like the old show but people didn't want nothing new but i did

NBC should kill off some of these other shows not knight rider it was just getting off the ground when the 1 season ended and cause of assholes that keep complaining (it's not like the old what a mustang as kitt )that's all i heard this show could have made it if was giving the change but because people had to bitch so much that NBC didn't give it the chance fuck NBC the shit they got now sucks and the suckest shows are still on the air and shows that where good got cut FUCK NBC

If they are doing a reboot, I friggen hope Goliath and/or K.A.R.R. will be remade as well. How can you have the K.I.T.T. without the Nemesis K.A.R.R. or Goliath? and a Mustang? for K.I.T.T.? is that the best they could come up with? Seriously..I Love Knight Rider but that was like a slap in the face. The transformations to the Truck and Super reminded me of Transformers more than Knight Rider.
