Why?

@kuro96inlaila I've made it different ways and all tests were failures.
What type of charcoal did you use?

I use softwood charcoal from species Leucaena leucocephala (white leadtree). The tree are very common in Malaysia. You can find more about this tree in wikipedia. Is your H3 can't be ignited or it burn slowly?

@kuro96inlaila My H3 burns very slowly.
I’ve read that balsa wood is a very soft hardwood and it’s used in lift powder for aerial shells. When I tried H3 I used vine and willow charcoals. I guess I’ll try it again with balsa charcoal. Wikipedia says Leucaena leucocephala grows where I live too.

I thought willow are good for H3,another time you try to make it.Grind the components separately until it become fine powder. Then screen it together.Don't push or rub it through the sieve. The left over can be ground again. You're done when all your mix can pass the sieve without rubbing the mix.I spent 2-3 hours to grind the mix using hand mortar.
Good luck!
