The video ends because I needed both hands to rescue him. He ended up climbing all the way up my bookcase and I was defensively peed on and kicked with urticating hairs before he finally let me pick him up and place him back in his habitat. -_-

How and why he derped himself into his original situation is beyond me. I looked over from my computer to see him hanging by one leg from the screen on his lid, unable to get a good grip on the glass to hoist himself back up.

Spiderling is my first tarantula, I now own six. S/he is a Brachypelma smithi, or Mexican red knee, very docile unless scared, and a very cool pet to have. I raised it from a baby the size of a house spider, it took two years to reach this size.
