@hassiusm: I don't have any wish to build my own mac. The entire reason Mac OS rocks is that it only runs on special hardware. It means apple can optimize the software for the hardware much better than M$. and, yes, I have built my own PC. I'm writing this comment with it. Its running Ubuntu 7.04, never had a crash.
