So I did it this way and it was much easier than the last time. The last time I nearly lost the decal but this time It was much smoother and made life so much easier.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! and you gained a subscriber and I am adding this video to my favorites.
There's a unique situation I have run into a few times. A good example is the current black Trans Am I'm building. I'm using my HobbyLobby purchased Testors inkjet water slip decal paper for the gold effects. The firebird logo has several separate lines in it & any space between those lines will need to show the black paint job of the car underneath. White decal paper's no good here & from previous experience, solid colors are translucent when using clear decal paper. Suggestions? Thanks!
@AL6299 This tutorial is superb. Like he says cut your decals and do a few at a time. Move the ones you will do later away from your water tray. It is very easy to knock stuff over. Let them set, then come back and do a few more. When I was a lad, I'd try and do them all in one go. Instead of waiting. What would happen then is I'd handle the model, and end up with them all moving, and all over my thumb & fingers. Take your time, and enjoy it. It's supposed to be fun!!!
Thanks that looks very helpful. I'm only 14 and I'm just about to do my first plane and it's a revell 1:144 eurofighter typhoon and it's tiny some of the waterside decals and I was worried I might mess them up All together. but I've looked everywhere for a video to tell me how to do one and have not found one as good as this one thanks very much and fingers crossed it'l turn out great cheers
Wonderful! thanks..
