Wish I could get to see this guy but he never comes to Florida. I can tell the audience isn't really enticed by his playing "on the piano" between 1:33-2:10. I believe its awesome and very innovative but the people who he is playing for don't understand music as a musician does like I or the many other musicians out there in the world. So kudos to Michael for pulling it off and then goin' into a wild ass boogie woogie solo afterwards, just completely changing the feel but keepin' the tempo up.
@50sVintage You mean the NYC NAC? Brilliant performances, but I can't hear about it without calling it the "knick knack" in my head. He is incredibly talented and such fun to watch. Truly, a unique artist!
The rendition of this that he did last night at the National Arts Club NYC brought down the house. Kaeshammer is an amazing talent. I really can't wait for him to return to NYC.
Quel artiste extraordinaire ! J'ai eu un immense bonheur à le découvrir sur scène à Montréal en 2007 !

He's playing with 3 other pianists at the Palladium in St. Petersburg on Jan. 28, 2012.
