This feature length documentary follows young boxers, while talking to the veterans, on their way to boxing glory. Set in historic Lowell MA, home of Irish Micky Ward, see the gym and city he grew up in, and exactly what made him a fighter.

Looks great...I know what would be amazing (but I know much more expensive) Doing this documentary also on Golden Gloves around the world and the different expectations of fighters depending on their place of origin...it could be Mexico, Puerto Rico and in Philippines how having a great champion affects the amateur boxing world.

Saw The Fighter today, great film, I still won't forget watching Ward Gatti 1 live on HBO, best fight I ever saw. Bale was awesome as Dicky, Iremember him from that documentary I saw in the 90s, they should show it again.

Saw Mickey fight Reggie Green at the Salem, NH ice center 10 years ago, great fight!
Great movie too, saw it last night. Bail will win an oscar for portraying Dicky.
