@thegreatrituraj not widely used because it's very young. Adobe isn't widely used either and they've had years to get all the market share and have they? nope because they don't follow web standards, they don't play nice with clients, and it's shit software through and through.
Silverlight was the only answer one that Apple has even adopted.
