"Deliver Us", from "The Prince of Egypt", live by Marine Band San Diego!

Happy Passover! Here is Marine Band San Diego performing "Deliver Us" from the film "The Prince of Egypt" for Morning Colors in Friday, April 18th 2003. It was arranged and conducted by yours truly. GySgt Rodney Barlow did an outstanding job on the solo trumpet at the beginning and SSgt Michael July did wonders with the soprano sax solo during the slow section. Enjoy!

Wow, the blatant lack of separation of church and state in the military is astounding.

@Rikudemyxdert Yeah, you don't know the half of it. First off, we have chaplains! That's right, the military PAYS people to be hold church services and nourish the spiritual well-being of its members, and we even PRAY before most ceremonies that we have. Perhaps separation of church and state is an unconstitutional policy, after all if you read the constitution you will not find the words "separation", "church", or "state". God bless and have an outstanding Marine Corps day!

Thanks gang. All the compliments really mean a lot. It's hard to believe this was almost 7 years ago. We definitely had a blast doing some custom arrangements for morning colors and seeing what we could get away with.

@danieltyack Actually this song happens before passover, it occurs while they are still in slavery before Moses is even grown up, the point was religion in the military which is the type of thing that cause such things as prop 8 and s 1867. Christians are descended from Jews. Take your own advice.
