The Addams Family starring John Astin and Carolyn Jones gained instant cult status when the Sit-Com debut in 1965. The character of their butler, Lurch, played by Ted Cassidy inspired this novelty record. "The Lurch" quickly became a popular fad dance, although the record is a hard to find collectible today. - Enjoy!

"Aaauuuughh! Yuuhhhhh-AAAH! Followwww meeeee . . . " I remember this song as a kid. Could never find the record of it though. Unlike most recordings by TV stars, it's actually a pretty good song (certainly better than anything by David Hasselhoff anyway). I'd rather hear this than a pretentious piece of crap like Richard Harris' "MacArthur Park" anyday.
