Big Old Expensive Phone Company Ad

This is that great Comcast cable ad with the old phone company execs singing broadway-style. They don't have it on Comcast.com, but they darn well should.

PS - I did a search and the ad was created by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goodby_Silverstein_&_Partners), which was apparently named "Agency of the Year" by Adweek magazine in January 2007. Couldn't find any info on the actors, but they all do a great job.

You're kidding me ... I got voted -6 for saying that I hate comcast?? Comcast sucks. Anyone who has their TV service has got to be sick of their commercials by now. Especially this one, the "Just Ask Zak" one, and the one with the woman bashing AT&T.

Nobody said it was accurate, just great, and it is. Artistically speaking, this commercial had all the goods: great singer, funny premise, good sports for actors, and a director and a costumer who understood who was being satirized. The goal of advertising is to make a product attractive whether or not it's a good value. I do agree that Comcast definitely both sucks AND blows, and no commercial will change that, but they did manage to create a very funny, entertaining spot here.

Are you high? This commercial is just a bad attempt to be cute by saying it backwards, but its not even accurate.. and "B.O.E." is just a retarded acronym to base it around. Maybe if they could do "P.O.S." or something, but no.. its just retarded. Comcast's phone service is way more expensive than BOE anyway as soon as you get past the 6month special period.
