A4G Skyhawk features in "Sea Eagles" a late 1970s documentary about operations from HMAS Melbourne with its Air Group. Bias means that mostly the A4G features with other bits edited out due to constraints of time/filesize of Utube.

Ah those were the days, great to see old faces on this video, and to add, I was part of it as well.. Sir David Martin, who became Governor of NSW before his un timely death, Filthy Firth(Air Ops) and Lawry Beavan, who I joined the navy with in 1971.. Also Errol Kavanagh, (Lil' F) who too passed away in an aircraft crash.. Nobby Clark is at the end of the video, we also played Aussie rules in Nowra that's what he is referring to...Good Ol' Days

This is so nostolgic, i joined in 75 and posted to Torrens as a UC in feb 76 spent that year resdes for Melbourne Sir David was my CO on Supply in 78 a fantastic officer, after 20yrs service and 16 yrs out I still miss all the great times and friends. Mark Matthews Ex POUC

I was serving onboard Melbourne when this footage was shot.I have fond memories of FLYCO working with Commander Campbell and Little "F" an ex RN LCDR who had about six sugars in his brew! How do I know all this? I MADE THEM! Ex ABAVN 1979
