Music Composed by Ronald Binge in 1963 who was born in Derby England . Can be heard before the shipping forecast on BBC Radio 4 around 12:45 am. As I lay listening to this beautiful tune one night i thought it was just crying out for words and so the lyrics that you hear just started to flow. I know this lovely piece of music can stand on its own two feet but i hope it adds another dimension and does not take anything away from it .

My thanks to Hannah and Sarah for their wonderful vocal backing and Kevin mc Auley for letting me use his exquisite tall ships slides. Hope you enjoy it. LYRICS my heart`s yearning to be, where the cloud and sky meet the sea, flowing tide, sailing by, as the breeze lifts the herring gulls high. stars to steer our course to new horizons far away, dawn is breaking a new day making us thankful for the freedom it brings yes my heart`s yearning to be, where the cloud and sky meet the sea, flowing tide, sailing by, as the breeze lifts the herring gulls high. stars to steer etc.
