Three health professionals volunteered in Jérémie, Haiti with the Haitian Health Foundation in September 2009. This slideshow with thoughtful background music portrays the poverty and human suffering which makes Haiti the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. And this was before the devastating earthquake in January 2010. The Haitian Health Foundation serves Jérémie and the surrounding region. Thousands of refugees are coming to Jérémie every week. We appeal for your support through the Haitian Health Foundation. Thank you
