hey i have a 2003 GT, with 50 k miles on it i jus bought, what would you recommand for performance upgrades to get that extra horse power while not killing the MPG, i have about 4,000 im looking to spend, any suggestions. ? :) please respond

if u wanna save a little more you can get a supercharger installed. that will give you the extra horses for sure. if not, then do the basic bolt ons like cold air intakes and upgraded intake throttle body and manifolds. you can also do a full upgrade of your exhaust starting with LT headers all the way to the catback system. that should give you some extra power for less than 4 grand. also look into to a steeper gear like 4.10 for pep off the line.

the gears will make ur gas mileage go down slightly however do the higher cruising rpms

Whatd you have to do to the engine to get it supercharged? i have a 99 GT with 100K miles on it and was REALLY wanting to supercharge her

if you are only going to supercharge and nothing else you dont have to do anything else to the car. on the a stock block you will be around 360-370 whp depending on the tune. once you go up in power in you have to look at upgrade the block, exhaust, etc. you already have 100K miles on your block so i wouldnt recommend anything crazy b/c the supercharger does add extra stress to it. you can go ahead and supercharge it if you are just gonna be out on the street.

nice man, i have loudmouth 1s on my mustang too. have you thought about the front and rear cobra bumper? and cobra decklid??? would really set it off!
