This is how I removed my ls1's stock 10 year old balancer. Purchased a 6'' 3 jaw puller from O'reilly Auto Parts. Mounted it up.....realized the bolt that adds the increasing pressure on the crank pulley wasnt long enough to get the job done so we improvised and got it off with minimal effort. careful...the force required to get it off can move it on jackstands. i dont reccomend doing this un-accompanied if your not using a lift.
