Special Report Documents Skewed Representation of Religion in Major News Media
Conservative Religious Leaders Far Outnumber Progressive Leaders in Media Despite Views of Most Americans
Washington, D.C. -- Media Matters for America today released "Left Behind: The Skewed Representation of Religion in Major News Media," a special report documenting the disparity between media coverage of conservative and progressive religious leaders. Since the 2004 elections, there has been a dramatic increase in the coverage of religion in newspapers and television across the country. This increase has overwhelmingly focused on conservative religious figures as the definitive voice of religion at the expense of the vast majority of religious Americans.

WARNING!! Brian McLaren is not a REAL Christian! He is making up lies about the Bible and is now attacking Christians for believing in Jesus and his return and denies that The state of Israel and the jewish people are God's chosen as stated in the Bible. Brian Mclaren is also Obama's new assistant on a new bill passed called the hate crime bill and stated he wants to destroy the Christian majority and its belief as Jesus will return. He is a Heretic! Brian Mclaren is a wolf in sheeps clothing
Wait wait wait...Because Mclaren doesn't focus on hell means he's a bible rejector? Jesus preached caring for the poor, McLaren does, and sadly that's a change for Western Christianity. He also preaches love, so did Jesus, which is something more people need to pay attention to because the churched is marked by its harmful statements of the morality of homosexuality than it is by its unconditional love for our neighbors. Jesus talked about homosexuality not once. Jesus barely spoke of hell.
i went to paint branch high school when he was the pastor there, then cedar ridge and met him a lot of times. He is an awesome man and is extremely smart. He should be an A lister and will be soon
this past election proves his point. the "right" did not play as big of a part as in the past couple decades. i was skeptical about this guy but i really believe his heart is to love Jesus and love people and to live the Kingdom on earth
