I saw your video and decided I would share with you what my accordion tuning table set-up looks like. I've been tuning accordions for at least 10 years now. My father has been tuning accordions for at least 50 years. He's shared with me his knowledge of tuning accordions - some of which I plan on sharing with others. Anyway I think that's a great thing you are doing of sharing your knowledge with others, whether it be accordion playing or accordion tuning. Keep up the good work.

@jazbogutz On these diatonic accordions (such as the Hohner Corona II), you have a 'low side' and a 'high side' set of reed plates on each block. There is a different note going either in on bellows, or out. Therefore, on each reed plate you have two different notes. The reed tongues on the inside of the block are the notes (bellows pulled out), and vise versa.

Im in the process of building my own table. Im going to use a foot operated bellows that I purchased on ebay pretty cheep. What I dont understand is that why are there 2 different tones? In and out. Thought boht reeds on one block are of the same note. I started doing the reeds with an air compressor with very low pressure. JB

Thanks for sharing the info, you're an inspiration!
Is it possible to convert a button accordian for a left handed and what would it take.

@roberttorrez0410 I always thought all you had to do was flip the reed blocks and modify the mounting area, that is because of the difference in the height of the ends of the reed blocks, other than that, it should work, my opinion, I am gonna try it and see for myself, i'll let you know or post a video.
