This folk dance is from Toe Dhingri, western Tibet. The people of the region are known for their farming skill and hard labour. Nestled under the shadow of Jomo Lungma (Mount Everest) , their songs are mostly in praise of the magnificient mountain. The dance is performed during major religious and social ceremonies.
Performed by Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA)
