Notoriously the shortest day of the ride on the LifeCycle, Day 5 is also the most brutal on the hills. But keeping riders' minds off off their aching quadriceps is Red Dress Day, for which riders don their best red garb and as a stream of 2,500-plus cyclists make way through Santa Barbara County they simulate a living, breathing, ever-recognizable AIDs Ribbon.
