For those of you who missed the PA Horse Expo and the gaited clinic by Gary Lane, I have attached a clip of our stallion King Of Diamonds from RocKaRan Farms. Gary's theory of self-seeking reflex action is a new idea for us but it does make sense. He claims that the lowering of the neck releases endorfins which leads to a calmer mount and can benefit all horses.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Mountain Horse Breed - they are the foundation of all the American Gaited breeds including the Tennessee Walker and Rocky Mountain Horse.
