Why can't the arpeggiator just be a simple insert? The word "Arpeggiator" isn't even FOUND in the help search! Logic really is very OVER complicated. I'm trying to like it but I'm new to this stuff and every step has been humiliating and mentally exhausting. Really makes me want to go back to racks of keyboards and TAPE recorders! Or give up on my music. The geniuses at Apple made things so complex that it might discourage people. Music is supposed to be fun. This feels I'm like doing my taxes!

Newbie here-I can't even get a sound out of my new recording device-or more correctly, out of the bundled software on my computer. Boy do I feel dumb. The tutorials and instructions really suck. How about you masterminds at the factory realize that you start with how to install software (step-by-step) then how to make it work (again step-by-step).

........contd
5. Go to Arrange page and convert the Arp track into Arpeggiator by right clicking > REASSIGN > CLICKS AND PORTS > ARP
6. Play some chord on the ES2 track. Copy the MIDI region to the Arp track
7. Adjust Arp settings in the Inspector. This is a really powerful feature.

Guys, its a great video that demonstrates an important point - Logic Arp does NOT have to be programmed in 'Real time' (while playing a MIDI or capslock keyboard). Whats done here is:
1. Open a software instrument track with say ES2 on it (for Arpeggiation sounds) Call it 'ES2'
2. Open a 'dummy' software instrument track which is going to become the Arp track. Call it 'Arp'
3. Open Environment - Command 8
4. New > Arp (as shown in the video). Connect to ES2!!!!............contd in next post

umm... ya that was sick

First of all it seems like you can't find the entire bounce? In that case you must be sure to choose destination for your bounce before you click bounce.
If the arp doesnt bounce properly it might be 'cause you have to bounce in realtime when using an arp.
Good luck

yeah unfortunately no one can see your assignments and in logic there is no way to even begin to guess what you have done.
