I tell you one thing , these BMWs for a 2.4TD (112HP) ? , are fantastic & very fast indeed & good tyre toasters too !! these 2.4 models were never launched in the UK until about 1993 when the very first diesel BMW came on the market (2.5TD) newer shape , great fun to watch !!

Do you know why those cars are that rare? It´s because most of them are in my property ;-) . As you see, those 2.4 turbodiesel are not lethargic any more.
