agree, i think manson missed the mark on this cover,(he's done others very well) ,but i think it is an honor anytime a front liner covers you.funny thing is i think gary's cover was alot darker than manson's (never thought that could happen !) back to gary's vid to compair.....

While I prefer the original Numan songs to those covered by Manson and NIN, Its good to see other artists covering his songs. I dont think Manson "got" it tho. To me its far to fast and upbeat while the song should be slower simply because it lost that ominous edge that lent itself to the dystopian images the song conjures. Just my opinion tho. Please dont flame me for having an opinion!
