Jake is almost 5 and he is autistic. He is non-verbal.

I''ve spent a lot of time on YouTube looking for videos of other autistic children to try to plot my child on the spectrum, but unfortunately, I mostly come across videos of still shots with sad, weepy music in the background. Without the title advising me that the child is simply autistic, I'd have thought he or she must have died!

I hope my videos can help other parents of autistic children by demonstrating how our son acts and how is autism is apparent. As you can see, he is lovely boy with an infectious giggle. We just wish we knew what was so funny.

  • Was he vaccinated? Have you tried any diets?

  • @Adrenalyn Yes, he's been vaccinated, but we honestly feel like Jake issues are from birth.

Diets? Only the gluten and cassein-free diet. We saw little change and it was very hard to follow the diet.

  • Im on the spectrum and I was NOT vaccinated, My mom was VERY healthy. the vaccination theory is a bunch of bananas!

anyway, I love how that he listens to you when you tell him to be quiet. and he mumbles a bit and if you try hard you can hear some words come out. like Mummah, Not there. and him laying down his head near you looks like his way of being affectionate. :3 at least he is not completely closed off from you. have you tried teaching him vocal skills and words?

  • my nephew is autistic too hes also a happy little man :)

  • I was diagnose HFA at age 6 (!969) and had my first vaccination at 7.

I remember how much I loved spinning around as fast as I could and walking in a tight circle.

When I was diagnosed they put me on durgs. But I was lucky as my school teacher fought to get me off them..Bless her.

All through grade school I had speach and was in remedial classes. But in high school, I loved algebra and taugh myself computer programming and electronics by early 20's. couldn't read news paper till late 20's

  • @Banana27ification

I'm autistic and I can say that we don't 'recover' from Autism. Some of the symptoms may get better when we grow up but most of them stay as long as we live. Every person with autism is very different from the other.

And I did not 'get' Autism from a vaccination. I was born this way.

    Also I do not suffer.

Sorry for my crappy English. I'm from germany

  • @miss5abr1na I agree I love hearing any noise coming from my lil brat lol! :-)

  • Btw your son has the cutest laugh :)

  • @Banana27ification Unfortunately I firmly believe Autism is genetic and diet or anything else do little to help. All we can do is to adjust to them and keep them safe and be able to live their lives in any way they can, so long as they are happy... It doesn't take much to make them happy, to be honest. They are beautiful little things :) but they scare me sometimes lol my sister is autistic and she can get violent on me when she's frustrated.

  • URGENT for All parents of autistic kids:

Many such kids can and do recover (or at very least improve significantly) after mercury is removed from their brains, by safe chelation. Please look up "autism-mercury onibasu", there you will find all the information you need to start your child's recovery. I was motivated to write this because human suffering is hard to watch - and I myself am now recovering from mercury poisoning as an adult. Most doctors have no idea of anything about the dangers a
