If you want to be able to proclaim yourself a member of an inclusive nation which respects its citizens, you need to start respecting people as individuals.

I commend those who stood up for her. I think it is disgusting how she was treated. Just because your country is at war a Islamic nation, does not justify applying the same maltreatment to all individual's of that religion. If that was the case, we should segregate nearly very individual in America because at some point a member of their religious group threatened our society.

When we start getting suicide bombers in North America I wonder how many of them will switch teams. It's only a matter of time. I hope that when they do explode themselves in public it gets a family member of one of these people that got offended by the cashiers remarks. Then they might change their brainwashed multicultural loving minds.

It's because our government invaded two different countries (Islam being the predominant religion in both of them) that soldiers are dying.

What makes you think the women in the video had anything to do with what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Also, didn't it ever occur to you that some of our soldiers ARE Muslim? The Pentagon lists 3,557 soldiers as Muslim. There may even be more, since disclosure's voluntary.

To believe that moderate Muslims and extremist Muslims are the same is like believing that there's no difference between moderate Protestants and the Westboro Baptist Church.

The problem here is that you are over-generalizing Muslims. There are many different interpretations of Islam, a minority of which believe that they must destroy any non-Islamic faith. I have seen American Muslims disparage these fanatics, it's just not heavily publicized.

Even though discrimination of Muslims here isn't as bad as discrimination perpetrated by Muslims abroad, one must realize that most Muslims in the U.S. don't hold to that extremist interpretation.
