You are clearly very insecure about where you are from, being Welsh is just as matter of fact as being English or anything else. Living in nostalgia for the 17th century is a bit lame, it's not as if you ever lived in that time, is it? I'm glad my Welsh family aren't as angry as you, we all get along just fine. I can't believe people are getting on their high horses about poor old Gethin. I am Cornish, have a "Welsh" surname and loads of Welsh relatives. I think Gethin is great because anyone who knows a bit about Wales must have come across a few Gethins... come on, lighten up.

First of all, this is not anti-Welsh. Gethin is an idiot, but this has nothing to do with the fact that he's Welsh. In fact, he's Welsh because that makes it easier for us to make him overly-patriotic, which we couldn't have done with an English character. Secondly, your being anti-English is no way at all to combat perceived anti-Welsh sentiment, is it?
