1996 Galant (7g) drive

Taking a spirited run around my 'block' in the woods. Car in video is a 1996 Mitsubishi Galant S with a factory 5 speed and swapped leather interiour. At approx 3:30, the tripod tips from taking turns too fast, and after that I hold the base when I'm not shifting. Ummm.. other than that, I sing, flip off a stupid Malibu that held me up on a fun road, and towards the end of the video, the sound is a tick faster than the video. Enjoy!

indeed it is, although I've seen ONE factory ES model with a factory 5 speed, also... GS came equipped standard. Bet you already knew that =P

not exactly dangerous. posted speed was 40 on most roads, and my speed never exceeded 65.

Considering that I used to live on this road, I used to drive it every day.. and believe me, 60 is about how fast everyone drives on that road anyway.

That, and after attending a track day or two, I think I know how to handle my own car.

But you can think what you will, I'm sure I could write you a book on why this *wasn't* dangerous, but you'd continue with your brainwashing propaganda.

I'm "Galant Kid" on TGC. I'm going to Stage Zero the car first and get all the bugs out (only a few cosmetic and no mechanical) before I mod, but I think the only thing I'll do is upgrade the brakes, suspension, and add a few JDM parts.

For example, right now I'm 6 hours into a detail, and I've only got 3 1/2 panels done! In the spring, the Kalapana Black is getting a panel by panel repaint, and also 15" optional 5 spokes like the GS rims.

no really i drive fast 2...(and crazy sometimes ) :)) i dont have the "safe" car to do it..so i do it at my own risk..:( :D my carslowly gets to 160 kmph that is slow in american terms :)) still i`m scared shitless cuz my car is just 800 kgrams and it has an 1400 cc engine with 75 hp at 4000 rpm and the wind can literally pick it up :)) and it transformes into a plane :D good luck and stay safe !
