i saw this when movie it first came out i was about 15 and this at the time was the most original horror film that i had ever seen.everyone was talking about freddy.now this is still one of my all time favorites.robert englund was legendary as freddy and i always loved john saxon.this is a movie that should not have never been remade.i mean why bother ?

i think the tech in the new one is a lot more realistic. the claw in the tub and the stairs and many other things looks like something highschool drama students would do. i know they didn't have much to work with then but still.

The remake of this one insulted its original the worst. Even worse than Halloween and friday the 13th.
