How to get ideas for your movies!

Hey guys! Todays I'm going to tell you how you can get ideas for your movies. Before we begin I'd like to say that I, personally, cannot give you an idea, they mainly have to come from within you!

Tips:

1. Watch movies that you like, take down notes on things in the plot and composition that you enjoyed

2. Develop what kind of movie you want to make, Ex. horror, comedy, action. Go online to look at a playlist of songs that would suite the movie, listen to them... ALOT!

3. Take a soul search and decide what the strongest emotions you have ever experienced are, then base your story around those emotions.

4. Take another soul search, this time about the strongest memory you've had, good or bad. Revolve your movie around this. Take the bad memory to an extreme, and make the good memory turn extremely bad!

5. Look on news sites online until you come across one you wouldn't mind making!

6. Invite friends over, or family, and bounce ideas off them. It always helps to have another person or two to keep your sanity in check.

7. Remember, always write based on what you now! this is especially important for beginner filmmakers, in order to keep the story grounded and tell-able.
