Free Fallin' Chp 60: "Forever" Part 2

Alyssa's P.O.V.

College is so much better than high school, you don't have to sit in a classroom all day. The most class I have a day is 3 hours, I love it. Summer was coming closer and I couldn't wait. Another benefit of college, you get out earlier. Another positive, Stephanie's mom made her transfer so that means I will never see her again and she can't bother us anymore! Once I got out I could spend as much time as I wanted to with Joe, which would be as much as possible.
"I have to tell you something," Joe said when he was visiting one day.
"Okay," I replied.
"We're going on tour again for a few months," Joe told me.
"When will you be back?" I asked.
"July 15th," Joe said.
"When are you leaving?" I asked.
"A week," Joe said.
"I'll miss you," I said.
"I'll miss you more," Joe said and kissed me.
A week later Joe was on tour and the school was nearing the end. I was so relieved when I was done with exams and got to go home. I spent all my time hanging out with Namra and Alex waiting for Joe to get home. 6 days, 15 hours, 23 minutes, and 17 seconds until Joe got back, not that I was counting or anything. Just then my phone started ringing and it was Joe's ringtone. I ran to go and answer it.
"Hey," I said.
"You should go outside," Joe said.
"Why?" I asked extremely confused.
"Just do it," Joe said. I went outside and Joe was standing there and I ran up to him.
"Joe! What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be back for another 6 days, 15 hours, 21 minutes, and 12 seconds," I said.
"I see someone missed me," Joe said smiling.
"You were counting too, I know it," I said.
"Okay maybe I was, but that's only because I love you," Joe said.
"I love you too," I said and kissed him. I will never get tired of Joe, he's like my other half and I want to be his forever.

this is kinda a crappy ending, but the epilogue is SO much better, i really liked how it turned out so it makes up for this ending :D
